I’m Ulli, and together with my husband Joerg and our daughter Michelle, we bring you a thoughtfully curated collection of women’s fashion—now beautifully expressed through ULLI’s Boutique on Sanibel Island.
Our Journey
Born and raised in Germany, my love for fashion began early in life. My mother, who worked for a renowned German fashion house, inspired my appreciation for quality, design, and timeless style.
I later built my career as a buyer for jewelry and watches at Germany’s largest mail-order company. This role took me across the world—from Italy and Israel to India, Thailand, and Hong Kong—where I sourced exceptional pieces and developed a deep understanding of craftsmanship and global trends.
My journey continued with the American television network QVC, where I helped establish its German branch. This experience refined my eye for product curation and strengthened my passion for bringing beautiful, high-quality pieces to customers in a meaningful way.
Joerg’s path has been equally influential. He built a successful career with the Japanese watch brand Seiko, working extensively in Germany and traveling often to Japan. His exposure to precision, innovation, and meticulous detail continues to shape our shared commitment to excellence.
Our Move to Florida & the Inspiration Behind ULLI’s
Years ago, our business opportunities brought us to Southwest Florida. Over time, this environment inspired a fresh vision—one that felt lighter, more refined, and deeply connected to the elegance of island living.
ULLI’s Boutique on Sanibel Island is a reflection of that vision. It embodies an elevated, coastal-chic aesthetic—effortless yet sophisticated, with pieces designed to feel as beautiful as the surroundings that inspire them.
Our Family
Our daughter Michelle plays an essential role in bringing our vision to life. She studied Economics and International Business in the U.S. and now leads our marketing and customer experience with a thoughtful, modern approach.
She and her husband Nick, a Navy veteran, have a son named Warren who keeps life joyful and full of energy. As a family, we are deeply involved in every aspect of the business, ensuring that everything we offer feels personal and intentional.
